This is a Rare Vintage Nouvelle Vogue- Odette, 24" doll, by Zanini & Zambelli, Nouvelle Vogue in Italy. 1981.
She is in an unused condition, in her in her original box and shipper, the exterior of the box is in a scuffed and crushed used condition.
The box has a very beautiful landscape portrait of France inside which is in very good condition. It acts as a seat and display for the doll. This is the Nouvell Vogue line of Odette number 67. Wearing a long layered Flapper style dress suit in ivory and gold with matching hat and feather decoration. The suit is belted with decorative belt buckle in silver tone. Her face with a snooty expression that gazes into the distance is painted in the classical boudoir doll style with heavily decorated eyes, beauty spot and pursed lips.
She has a hard vinyl head, lower arms and legs with a Cloth body and moulded high heels all of which is in wonderful condition. She was made in 1981
For her jewellery she wears a delightful little vintage style enamelled locket on a long gold toned chain. She is an exquisite example of a modern Art Deco doll and highly sort after by collectors.
