This is a 70cm/27" Boudoir Doll of Composition & Cloth.
Her eyes lined with a smokey-taupe shadow that has a small paint loss above the left eye, wearing lots of soft pink blush and the usual bee-strung ruby red lips. She wears her original mohair wig.
Her composition head is more the delicate French style and has a slight scratch on one cheek other than that it appears is untouched She has a couple of tack nail holes in the rear of her neck plate From around 1950s I guess, she has a soft flocked stuffed body.
Her original form-fitting gown of delicate pink cotton muslin has full length lace trimmed sleeves, skirt and front flap are also embellished at the edges with the same matching antique lace. The dress is hand embroidered with silk, a leaf and flowers design in an art deco style, new ribbons have been added. A very striking gown in all original, and very good condition with very slight fading and only one or two thin spots.
Her pink cotton underwear has been replaced as has her lace trimmed hat
Her original high heeled faux crocodile skin shoes have had the soles repaired and one heel replaced. Wearing a pretty vintage crystal choker she is an nice collectible example of a more modern era in these Art deco dolls and displays really well.
